The sculptures by Gio’ Frigo, breaking away from stereotypes, reveal a constant search for emotional situations and different expressions of feelings.

The basic principle of his sculptures is the union of opposites, almost a reflection on contemporary society and its contradictions.

From this point of view, his philosophy gets deeper: the play of opposites consists in harmony of spheres, or egg shape or cylinder counterposed to vertical blades, sharp and pointy.
Rationality and irrationality, soft and sharp surfaces chasing each other… consciousness of the possibility of a sculpture coming to life when harmony meets contrast.
